| I had trouble with my yorkie having runny eyes and sneezing a lot when I got him and he got doggy colitis shortly after I got him. (I took him to the vet because he wouldn't eat). I then started feeding him my sister-in-laws homemade dog food. It contains rice, boiled chicken, roasted lamb, squash and flaxseed oil. The vet says it's a very good diet for him and he has been in perfect health since I started feeding this. Not to mention, he gets so excited now at feeding time. HE LOVES IT! I have to buy in bulk so I only have to make the trip once a month to get food. She makes it in quart sizes and he eats about 4 quarts per month with some dry food mixed in. I highly recommend homemake food. It's healthy, no spices or preservatives and the dog thinks he is getting people food. Maybe you could find some recipe to make your own or find someone who makes it near you. |

| Bonnie gets NV raw. We are back to chicken now. We have had the beef, lamb, and venison. She loves them all. |

| I have switched Harley to Acana Prairie Harvest and he loves it! I did free feed but once we made the switch I have to start splitting up his meals because he would eat everything in the bowl as soon as I put it down! Jeri and Harley |

I hope Niyah doesn't rebel against NV Raw because then I would be at a loss as to what to feed her. Have you tried different varieties to see if she would like a different flavor? How different is Primal raw than NV? Thanks

| I am in the UK so don't know if you get Burns in the UK. But I feed Teddy Burns Chicken & Brown Rice, it is fantastic.

![]() Snick has tried all the varieties of NV expcept the Rabbit which is outsourced from China. He was put on meds twice while being on NV and I think he associates his NV with being sick and medication so won't eat it anymore. Primal is not very different at all, different packaging and looks and different mixtures within their "nugget" as opposed to NV's "medallion." So good so far with Primal ![]() -Snick & VIv
