 Bon Bon's Homemade dog food
I had trouble with my yorkie having runny eyes and sneezing a lot when I got him and he got doggy colitis shortly after I got him. (I took him to the vet because he wouldn't eat). I then started feeding him my sister-in-laws homemade dog food. It contains rice, boiled chicken, roasted lamb, squash and flaxseed oil. The vet says it's a very good diet for him and he has been in perfect health since I started feeding this. Not to mention, he gets so excited now at feeding time. HE LOVES IT! I have to buy in bulk so I only have to make the trip once a month to get food. She makes it in quart sizes and he eats about 4 quarts per month with some dry food mixed in. I highly recommend homemake food. It's healthy, no spices or preservatives and the dog thinks he is getting people food. Maybe you could find some recipe to make your own or find someone who makes it near you. |
