| I cannot get him to eat pumpkin!! Ok well for some reason Max has had the diarrhea since yesterday... not sure what could have caused it other than him eating (just a bit) of a different kind of dog food... which he has never had this problem with different dog foods... and I didnt swicth him he just accidently got a taste of another dogs food. But anyway I've been worried sick and thought id try pumpkin to see if it cleared it up before I decided to take him to the vet. WELL!!! I cannot get him to eat it... I tried putting it on my finger and pushing in his mouth but hes just not having it... hates the stuff... any suggestions or tips on how everyone else does it would be great? is there anything else I could give/do to help him? Thanks

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I was wondering if he would eat anything and whether he didn't want the pumpkin because he didn't want any food, or if he just didn't want the pumpkin.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I was wondering about that too, but milk products can contribute to diarrhea, so I wasn't sure. I wonder if mixing in peanut butter would help, or even a little sugar.

Yorkies have sensitive stomachs so yes any change in diet can trigger a sensitive stomach one as it has happened to mine as well just make sure drinking water so make sure fresh water about 3-4 times a day as mine only drink fresh water as they are picky lol so when i clean bowl put fresh water they run over to drink lol as diarrhea can dehydrate them faster than vomitting | |
