Irritation My puppy is 4 months now and he started to get these red marks/bumps around his lower belly. And a couple of days later they turn dark red almost brown little spots Any ideas what could it be? Is this normal at his age? I bath him every couple of weeks and always gave him a quality puppy food. I do give him a little bit of apples, carrots, cooked white egg sometimes. Could it be an allergy? Please help!

You may have the vet check him out. I had a Jack Russell Terrier that started getting spots on her belly and it turned out to be hemmoriging. I can't spell the exact thing she had, but it could be serious.

This sounds like pyoderma - possibly from a flea allergy. Maverick needs antibiotic when he gets them. I bathe him only with a benzoyle peroxide shampoo to help fight any serious infections before they set in.

I dont' think he has fleas. I did ask my vet, when he was visitng us during our last vacination (a week ago), he said it is just an irritation, similar to what baby have. But I'm just worring right now because yeaserday a noticed some more of them...

Thank you for your advises. We went to the clinic yesterday and they told us it looks like a little infection and gave a special shampoo to wash that area twice a week. We will see if it is not changing it probably an allergy and then they will give us antibiotics.
