Delicate diet for a picky Yorkie Some of you might recall our thread about our yorkie refusing to eat RC out of the blue, then we bought her Orijen puppy and she was munching down for a week straight, today she refused to eat Orijen, so we gave her RC now she's eating that like crazy... is this common that they are SO picky?

I got Apple, when she was 11 1/2 weeks old...She is almost 1 year old now, and she was the pickiest puppy on the planet!!! Not only would she not want anything, it seems if I added a little something to the kibble to make it more palatable, she would eat it, but then, sometimes throw up...I fed her every Holistic Kibble produced...Anyway, I finally switched her to Nature's Variety Raw Medallions a few weeks ago, and she absolutely loves her mealtime, never throws up and has perfect poops lol....Because she only weighs 5 lbs., she can only have two a day (one in the a.m., and one in the p.m.), so I cut up an organic bean or two (cooked) and a very small slice of organic apple (chopped into small pieces) and add it to her plate...She eats the medallion first, then the bean, then the apple for dessert...I've never seen her so happy w/her meals

Thank you for saying that...she is such a sweet sweet sweet little girl, loves everyone, she's not jealous of other dogs or people...I've never seen a mean action come from her...She truly lives up to her name...I am so blessed.... p.s. but she doesn't do any tricks ...because that's o.k. w/me lol
