| Wow. Surprised your vet gave her lepto, it is notorious for extremely serious and oftentimes deadly reactions in tiny dogs. Please opt out of the lepto in future vaccine combinations. So glad your baby is ok and kudos for getting her back to the vet so quickly!!!!!

While that is true that the vaccine is not used in some areas where lepto is not prevalent; it could be necessary in Serbia? I really do not know the answer to that. To the OP: I would ask my vet how necessary this vaccine is in your area. Thank goodness the OP was told to go straight to the vet and she did!

| Unless absolutely necessary, I wouldn't give the Lepto vaccine in her next round of shots. Vaccine reactions can be deadly (particularly Lepto) for these little ones. I'm SO glad that you acted quickly and took her back to the vet.

| Lepto I was told not to let my Yorkie have the Lepto shot and my vet does not give it anyway becuase there are too many bad reactions to the shot, especially in a small dog. I would not let your vet give her the Lepto vac. again. |

| I just popped in to see how your baby is doing, and was so happy to see she is doing o.k...Btw, my vet doesn't give lepto, either, and I believe that's to any dog... |

People should consult with their vets...not necessarily refuse without knowing if your pup is at risk!
