While that is true that the vaccine is not used in some areas where lepto is not prevalent; it could be necessary in Serbia? I really do not know the answer to that.
To the OP: I would ask my vet how necessary this vaccine is in your area.
Thank goodness the OP was told to go straight to the vet and she did!
