| Ive never heard of a local low cost clinic. I know our animal shelter once a mont runs a clinic for people to come fix their animals and get shots for a lower fee..My old vet used to do this til he retired. .. Is that what you are talking about?

| depends on the size of your baby and the extras. If your furbutt is a good weight you could google petfriends or something like that... there is a nationwide network of vets that you can print off a 69 dollar coupon from the net and they will honor it. I googled cheap/free spay and found it. Most major cities have vets that work with the program. My problem is that I think when my girls are ready they will be too small and require more specialized care. We'll see. If they get large enough to not have to have a heated table, special anesthesia, pre-op bloodwork etc then I'll go that route. It would be 69 dollars total. Great price.

not ending love Donating Member | no, this is actually a clinic for spay/neuter and also do shots, run the tests and gives you prescription, like a regular vet, but way cheaper and of course there is the waiting, but the service is exelent and they are very helpful and NICER than my vet, the name is people for animals, im in NJ but i know most states have places like this

| I use a voucher that I purchased at PAWS in my area to have all of mine spay/neutered. My vet is part of the program and many of the other vets in this area are also on the list of vets that honor the voucher price. I believe it was $60 and $85 they all spent the night and came home with pain meds. Since mine are all a form of rescues they had blood work done at their office visits prior to their surgery. He's very reasonable and makes sure the rescues are well taken care of through his office.

| I'm going to say Ellie's was $135 or $185 plus bloodwork. Her vet office at the time offered low cost S/N without cutting corners, so it included Iso, IV, heat surface, extensive monitoring, pain meds, e-collar, free rechecks (even or paranoid mommies ) and stitch/staple removal.

| Ours was around $275 including the bloodwork as well. I paid $50 extra with Angel to have an IV line put in to keep her from getting hypoglycemic since they told me her surgery wouldn't be till later in the day, but she had to be fasting from 8:00pm the night before.

| We paid $270 for Maddie's, this included baby teeth extractions, pre-op blood work, IV fluids during surgery, and pain meds for after. I did take her home the same day to monitor her closer though. I am not sure if that affected price or not.

| I paid just under $300, but that was for pre-op blood work, including heart worm test, and for very expensive pain meds that she probably only needed the first night...She also had her two top canine teeth out, as her adult ones were already in...And the vet had to put a little stitch in those two removals, because the roots of those teeth are soooooooooooo long....She did great!!!! I also got a quote from another local vet and he was almost $400 for the same thing!...But I just love the vet that did it...Dr. Runge in Seabrook, Tx.... |

| I paid $70 here in Santa Clara. It helps if you try and find some government low cost neutering programs. |
