I have been trying to order Blue Buffalo Wilderness because it is higher in calories and he is an active dog. Well I have been trying to order it for the last month and it is getting put on back order. And I have tried wet food but it gives his the runs. Is there anything else I can do?
And I would wait til after she is spayed. Animals tend to gain after they are fixed. Good luck with the spay! |
How often do you feed? You could feed more often, or add some extra calories with treats. Some treats are good for them and higher in calories. During a trick training class Joey gained a pound, I had to keep upping the value of the treats, and towards the end, he was working for mozzarella cheese, I think one stick is around 90 calories, but that's a lot of calories for a little guy. By the way, Petsmart sells Blue Wilderness.
