| YT 500 Club Member | The same thing happened to Rosie after her first injection- they have 2 here in England- it fell huge on her tiny body. It came up the following day and took about 10 days. She was fine in herself, eating and playing normally and no pain. When I took her back for her second injection we saw a different vet, older and wiser, I explained what had happened and he said it was probably due to her size. he said it seamed silly that they had to give the same dose to a tiny puppy as a large breed pup, so he half dosed her , and no reaction second time around. He also agreed then was probably not the best time to chip her and agreed to wait until her spey operation. Horay for sensible vets. |

| Yup, same thing happened to Garrett. He got his annual shots and about 5 days later there was a bump between his shoulder blades. I freaked out , but it didn't seem to bother him one bit. I called my vet, and she said not to worry, that it was a common side effect of the shots. She said if it didn't decrease in size gradually day by day, then I should bring him in. Well, it's been going down slowly, and it still doesnt bother him when I touch it.
