| BLUE vs Natural Balance I am torn between choosing -- BLUE Life Protection Formula and Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Original Ultra. Many people ( mostly in the pet stores ) have told me to use BLUE. and BLUE sais that it has fruits and veggies, I like that about it I have used Natural Balance in the past and been very happy with it... Wich one would you choose? Why would you make that choice? |

| I've posted this site on here before and I love it...Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble. It looks like the Natural Balance has some controversial filler in it, but it still got a 4 star rating. I couldn't find BLUE, but I found a blue seal and that seemed pretty bad. Check out the site, you may have better luck. |

| I think you mean Blue Buffalo, right? Out of the two brands you listed, I'd pick Blue. They have a few different versions and they're available at Petsmart and Petco so they're definitely accessible which is always cool. Blue Wilderness, made by them too, is a 6 star rated food but it's also high in protein.

| yes, Blue Buffalo. Natural Balance is for puppies and adults. That is another part I like. With my crew I like to feed everyone the same thing if possible. But I would get the Blue if it is really better for them. I want to give them the VERY best out there. Not just ok. |

But if you really want the VERY best out there, those wouldn't be the foods I would choose. I'd pick Innova, Wellness or something of the like.

I'm learning quite a few things and one of them is that my own vet is not very well informed.. I followed the link in this topic to the dog food ratings. I was stunned to see that Eukanuba isn't much better than pedigree or beneful! I called Innova and asked tons of questions. I then found a local vet that carries it.. I plan to go get it tomorrow! I will need the 28 lb bag + each month!! The rep said that this food is good for all life stages. I think this will be the best for them | |
