Does the paw issue come and go with the allergy season? If yes, then it's probably seasonal -- I always watch at pollen.com (put your zip code in) to see where my local levels are at, it's helpful.
Benadryl is worth a shot -- I tried it for my Marcel and it didn't do a thing, but it can help some. Keep an eye on her paws though - you don't want them to get yeast btwn the toes w/ all of that moisture from the chewing; also, they can become inflamed if it gets really bad. I just started Marcel on Atopica, so I'm hoping this will help w/ his paws.
