| I've heard that yorkies paws can smell like frito chips. After reading that I decided to take a sniff...and guess what??? It does smell like frito chips!!! I usually just use a warm wash cloth to wipe their face and feet on a daily basis.

| Hehe peanuts feet smell like popcorn! If its that bad I would just wipe them throughout the day, with a washcloth or maybe even a baby wipe...I wouldnt put anything on them that she can lick off...

| Oh yes, we have Frito toes to. In the South, we just say bless their little hearts, they can't help it. I just wash the feet off between baths. |

| My Azrael has the Frito feet too, and sometimes it's so strong I can smell her under my desk. Kinda cute in a way.

| With my old multiples, one had stinky feet, one didn't. They ate the same food, did everything the same, so it must be the chemistry of certain individual dogs. Washing didn't help him much, so he was just stinky Binky.

| I have 2 yorkies, never heard of yorkies having smelly feet, and don't have that problem with my two. If it's that bad you might want to have your vet check her to make sure it's not due to an infection or something similar. Also my yorkies are inside most time and walk on the sidewalk when outside, rarely in grass or dirt, so maybe that can have an impact on smelly or not smelly feet. |

| Dogs have sweat glands in their feet. I copied this off the net: Dogs also have sweat glands on the pads of their paws and on their noses. These are eccrine glands. When these glands are active, they leave the nose and pawpads slightly moist and help these specialized skin features maintain their functional properties. The odor associated with dog paw pads is much more noticeable on dogs with moist paw pads than on those with dry pads. |
