Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I've never been asked to sign a waiver, and I had a Yorkie would had two fairly serious surgeries.

The other clinics I've used since then never had me sign anything before the procedures. Last edited by Miao; 04-16-2009 at 12:01 AM. | |

| I was wondering about this. At the clinic, which is the only one where I live. They get you to sign a waiver, and that in itself freaks me out. I know my babies are in good hands, but it just freaks me out. |

| I think it's pretty much standard here in the UK - just like a consent form for humans in hospital.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Yes, I had to sign a form for Thor's dental cleaning. It was quite extensive, so they put him under. I think it's standard here.

| Absolutely. It is informed consent to anesthetized and if a vet's office didn't make me sign one, I'd question it.
