| ![]() I know nothing about puppies so young, but I wanted to say how lucky this one is to have you! I really respect your efforts to learn as much as possible and to be prepared. I looked at her pics and she is sooooo cute! I am sending prayers and best wishes for you and Ellie. I look forward to many updates and new pictures as she grows! Welcome to YT!!! ![]()

Yorkie Yakker | ![]() MAJOR APPOLOGY IS IN ORDER FOR THE BREEDER! I called her this morning voicing my concern once again, and she informed me that Ellie was not the last puppy to leave, she was the first! She also stated that the only reason that she was letting her go with me now was because she needs a little more attention that she knows I will be able to give her. We have talked for sometime about my dealings with other animals and she stated that she felt very confident having me care for her. She also stated that the reason she wanted me to pick her up this week was so that if there were any issues and Ellie needed more "Mommy" time we would catch it before she left town and I could bring her back. She isn't allowing any of the other pups to leave before the 9 week marker. When I asked her why she was allowing me to take Ellie at 7 weeks, she stated that it was her level of confidence in me. She also informed me that Ellie was even munching on some of "Mommy's" hard food last night and that she is able to climb in and out of "Mommy's" bed with little to no effort. She is very active and is very healthy. The breeder has assured me that if anything happens to her that she will take full responsibility but she has the "upmost confidence" in my abilities to care for Ellie and give her the 24/7 attention that she needs...and is willing to put that in writing! FYI...There are 2 puppies in her care right now that she feels are "fragile"...Ellie and the puppy I am calling "Lil' Bit". She is sending Ellie to me, and she is taking "Lil' Bit" on the road with her. |

| ![]() sounds to me like you are exactly what Ellie needs.....you are very concerned with her health, safety, and happiness.......that combined with the wonderful grace of God i think will be all you need to take the very best care of sweet widdle Ellie.........please know that there are some of us who think that even in the worse surcumstances people like you are what these "special" babies need for their start in this world.........please please keep us updated.......and we will be sending up paw prayers for your success with sweet widdle Ellie. one thing i can tell you that may make the transition a little easier on Ellie would be if you could bring home something the mommy has layed on or played with...having her mommy's smell will make her feel more at home and not as lonely..........good luck........and enjoy all those widdle puppy kisses. Cindy
