Angie, Nash (the fat little male Maltese) had that knee surgery at Table View Vet Hospital about 4 years ago. He's been just fine ever since. They will need to sedate her mildly for the x-ray. Nash had his surgery the day after his X-rays. You've met him...can you tell he had surgery? Email me if you want any details. Give Bella my and Puddin's love.

put her in a crate, ignore her crying, and just ride it out. you do this now, and hopefully prevent surgery, so you do this after surgery when the stakes are even higher. your choice. and keep her off the couch, bed, stairs and anything else she can jump on or off of, or fall off of...

| Kalina82 I only put her on the couch if she is lying with me, took my eyes off her 4 one second and she jumped off, she is slowly starting to walk on her leg now! But very little though! Yay! I dont believe in crating, I cant do it!

| its good to hear bella is trying to put her leg down again. if she;s doing that it must be feeling less painfull. maybe the anti flamotry have done the trick. i sure hope so.x

| Bella has started walking on her leg more and more, although not fully, she will walk 3 steps and lift the leg up for a while and then walk a bit on the leg and hold the leg up again. I'm so glad that she is doing better.

| Goodnews Bella is basically fully recovered and walking on all fours. Her teeth have started falling out already. It looks so funny yet so cute
