Its amazing what a good night's sleep can do. It did wonders for both me and my baby Ryry. I cuddled with Ry's soft crate as best I could last night and woke up to his paw on my cheek through the mesh side. I got him out of the crate and NO CRYING! I was sooooo happy. He went potty, I hugged him and put him in his day crate where he ate breakfast-in-bed. He then went outside (he asked) to go poo and is now back in his crate going to town on his bully. He is bright and shiny this am.

I know we are not out of the woods, and yes I know he did have one dose of pred yesterday but I was told it could take a couple days for it to work so I am very pleased right now.

As my vet recommended I look into an accupuncture session at a referral clinic yesterday, I asked my girlfriend about it yesterday night. She has had two sessions over the past five years with her Springer. One time he couldn't move his neck and he cried all night, the other they suspected a pinched disc. Both times he was fixed that night, with no meds necessary. I am going to make him an appt. for Monday but am also going to continue the 7 day course of pred.

Thank you EVERYONE for all the sweet comments, pm's and messages. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it all. I had a pretty good breakdown yesterday, but with all your support was able to sleep well and wake up with a clear head. Thank you!!!

Amanda i have heard GREAT things about acupuncture and dogs. We have a woman in town who specializes in it actually and she was telling me just wonderful success stories that she has seen. I think it is definitely worth a try! SO SO happy to hear that both you and Ryder are having a great morning. Keep those updates coming!

I just wanted to check in on the boys this morning. I'm thrilled to hear Ryder is feeling better! That was a great idea to stock up on bully sticks for them. I'll check in again soon. {hugs}

Amanda, I am so sorry you and your little guys are going through all of this.
I have only been a member for a couple of months but already feel as though I "know" so many people here and my heart breaks when things like this happen. Your 2 little ones are so very lucky to have such a great mommy. I will certainly keep you and your little guys in my prayers.

Sorry u and ur little ones are not doing well..but i have read that with the accupressure and suppliments there is great improvements with these types of issues..I hope all will go well with u and ur little ones
