| I'm quite surprised that no one has read this. How important is your baby's health and how important to know about the untruths that are told to you by the people who make pet food.

| I personally wouldn't feed raw meat unless it was some kind of wild game. There are just too many chemicles and hormones in our meats, not to mention the terrible conditions at the slaughter houses.

| I agree 100% about the chemicals and hormones in our meat. I look at how healthy americans were when I was growing up. Back then, you didn't have yellow jaundice and other things that little ones are getting now. I think they're putting so much garbage in our food and feeding animals so much crap anymore that it's doing a lot of harm. |

My sisters yorkie just turned 13 and weighs around 6 lbs. she was always fed not very good food until recently, I talked her in to getting TOTW for her 5 dogs, then took mine off of the TOTW. Now we're doing the Rachel Ray nutrish. They went nuts over the sample they got |

| I know that Ellie May's mom home cooks all of her food. You may want to sent her a message. She has shared some receipes with me which were great!! Also, she gave me a link about mineral and vitamins to be added if you home cook over a certain percentage of time. I home cook once in a blue moon.

| I've.been homecooking for about a month now. My dogs eat a combo of raw and homecooked. I consulted Susan Davis in CA over the phone to get our recipe. I read some of that yorkie link above. I'd be careful about the nutrition advice you go by on the Internet. That person claims the yorkie has a double coat which is not true, and if they don't even know that about the breed, I don't know if I trust their advice. Plus they are recommending horse meat - gross. And say not to feed salmon which is part of the recipe I feed
