I don't think that is very sound advice. Just keep it simple. The main staple should be meat and veggies. Simple. Home cooking should not be any more work than feeding your child. It takes me less than a minute to give my three girls their meals twice a day and only 10 minutes to prepare a weeks worth of food and put in the ref.
