Donating YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() I use the recommended dose spread out for 6 dogs...so a very minimal amount works...and has not affected any liver panels or blood work. |

| ![]() A friend of mine in Tennessee is a Maltese breeder and she said that when she switched to a raw food diet (no preservatives etc) for her dogs, the tear staining was gone within a months time and NONE of her white dogs have ever had it again. They're gorgeous and their hair is so shiney. Also, only used distilled water because the excess minerals etc in tap water build up and cause the red yeast. |

| ![]() You also have to watch the foods you give. Some of them have red dye in them which in turn causes tear staining also |

| ![]() Just google Angel Eyes and you will find it. It is added to the food each day. I've been using it for about a week, 1/4 teaspoon 2 times a day on the food. So far I don't see any difference. How long did it take to see a difference?

I also, feed all natural and use distilled water and for treats they only get dehydrated chicken. ( no added ingredients) As of right now. I am doing all I know to do to keep them healthy and tear stain free. | |

| ![]() Great thread gals...let me know how the distilled vinegar turns out. Snickers has alot of goop lately...drives me nuts. I have noticed when I give him fruits, it get alot of goop in return. I do give him banana and pumpkin daily but not sure if that's the cause. I do give him tap water, but Michigan tap water is some of the best in the world (great lakes) so not sure if I should even go to distilled which I have tried and seen no results. I heard Apple Cider Vinegar helps with tear stains/goop, but if it's distilled, hey! I'll give it a go and try it....I just hope he is not turned off to his water with the new gross taste ![]()

| ![]() I just added two drops of vinager to her water bowl, can't taste it or smell it and it's worked wonders. Seeing is believing, if I didn't do it myself, I never would of believed it would work. The eye gunk is 95% gone.!!!! |

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() this is what i do.. I use 1/4 of a teaspoon for both of my little dogs. (one poo one yorkiepoo). They have never had any issues either, I had Tucker on it when he had is preneuter blood work done and it came back fine. I have a few threads on here thought that a few yorkie owners had issues with it.

sometimes it can take 3 to 4 weeks. Usually you can see a difference when they are groomed (if you have them groomed regluary). It took almost a month for me to notice anything in my toy poodle, but her staining was really really bad. I have her groomed every 6 weeks so by the time she was groomed she was cleaned up. I noticed Tuckers going away after about 2 weeks. So I guess it depends on the dog.
