| Allergies, Stuffy Nose, problems Hi I am a bit worried about Calleigh. She is sure active enough and loves to play and has a great personality, but sometimes, it sounds as though her nose is stuffed up - not all the time, but it is starting to get warmer here now and she has been sneezing and I was just wondering if Yorkies are known to have breathing problems related to allergies, etc. I love her so, so much and so I worry about her, she is my baby! | I too have the same problem. When my Maddie carries toys in her mouth she makes a "stuffy nose and throat" sound. I've been to my vet and posted questions about it here, but I'm still concerned. First, my vet told me that Yorkies are known to occasionally have allergies. She recommended giving her childrens benadryl daily to see if that helps out. If you choose to do that to see if that will help your puppy out be sure to check out appropriate doses for the size of your dog. Hopefully someone will post something that helps us out! Good luck! |
