| If she doesn't mind her crate, that would be a good place for her to relax. Down time varies but most will be back to just about normal within a few days. She may not move much the first night or be interested in food. She should pee probably by the next morning or so.

| They typically tell you that after surgery for the next 7 days, you will have to leash walk only, keep the incsion site clean and dry, NO JUMPING, and just keep her low key. Fiona was pretty much out of it the first night, and a little groggy the next day, but she did jump up on our bed once and we yelled at her, and she didn't do it again, since she knew. The day after she was getting back to normal. I left a t-shirt on her the whole time, just so she wouldnt mess with it.

| Bella got fixed last week and did great. I was surprised. She didn't really lick. The hardest thing was keeping her from running around. They gave me pain meds. for three days. Not sure if she needed it but it did seem to keep her sleeping a little more. |
