They typically tell you that after surgery for the next 7 days, you will have to leash walk only, keep the incsion site clean and dry, NO JUMPING, and just keep her low key. Fiona was pretty much out of it the first night, and a little groggy the next day, but she did jump up on our bed once and we yelled at her, and she didn't do it again, since she knew. The day after she was getting back to normal. I left a t-shirt on her the whole time, just so she wouldnt mess with it.
