| I broke down and got her EVO Canned to mix with her kibble. I got the EVO small bites and she seems to like them they are still harder then her Chicken soup puppy. She loves the canned! Of course. "I will just brush better mommy"! I am getting the feeling that her teeth are bothering her. I moisten the kibble with warm water and she will eat a few of that. I rub her teeth and she likes that. Possible teething issue? She is still freakish about kibble in the dish! (but the canned food is ok in there!) I even got her a new bowl at the suggestion of Kim at the pet food store. She noses around the bowl like she wants to shove them out. She will pick one out and eat it a few feet from the dish. She will do this for awhile and then seems to get distracted or her teeth have had enough. She has never liked food or a treat in her crate or bed. She will nose them right out the door! Little miss personality! |

| Has she been doing any better with the EVO?? Snickers is so weird about eating from a bowl as well. I finally got stainless steal shallow small dishes and he will eat out of them althought we still will sprinkle his kibble onto his placemat or a rug. He loves to eat on soft surfaces but WILL eat his morning dry/wet mix standing on the hardwood. Something about canned food I guess!! He eats so well now and will eat all his kibble off the rug and then out of his dish. It's working out well. Here is our schedule if it helps at all: Morning-2 tablespoons dry EVO with 1/2 tsp canned EVO Venison. Afternoon snack-fresh apples. Evening-4 tablespoons dry kibble our from 4:00pm-8:00pm and usually he will eat 75-90% of this. Snick would never eat when we would put his food down at certain times in the evening, he munches as the night progresses and is happy. I also give him sweet potato chews (no rawhide or bully sticks for us)-1 every day. Good luck!!

| My picky George baby So glad to read this thread, I have been really struggling with my 12 week old baby, he is so picky with food, cooked chicken is his favourite, turns his nose up at these vet recommended foods and sending me broke, getting advise from heaps of dog owners who don't realise yorkies are not like a normal dog, well my Georgie isn't anyway. He found a dead baby bird and eat that before I could stop him and it went through his system badly so now I have to go and check my section for weird things he might eat. Oh well luckily I'm as patient as he is beautiful. |

She loves the EVO canned and no soft stools. I have been mixing with the dry, but she seems to leave that. (because its in the bowl) When we were at the vet for her last round of puppy shots the vet tech insisted I should not feed her off the floor. Like I am making her freaky about the bowl! If we could only control their little personalities! Gosh, at least its not the wet stuff I have to serve up on the floor! You know, don't sweat the small stuff. My hubby keeps threatening to "tell on me"! How much does your snickers weigh and how old? I like your diet plan. And I haven't found sweet potato chews. Lexi likes plain no fat yorgurt and banana for treat. I will have to try the apple! | |

| Hahahah, yes serving the wet food off the floor would be something esp in my case as the Venison does not smell good!!! Snickers is 7.5 months and is 3.3lbs! He's a little guy and has been on EVO for about a week and a half. His poops are remarkable-1 itsy bitsy poop in the morning, and then will have a normal sized in afternoon and thats it!! I am hoping he will gain a little weight but since being on the EVO he has had alot more energy insisting we play fetch alot and running/chasing around the house about every hour, so he's getting alot of exercise in the house while it's still 20 degrees outside. The Spotato chews are by a company called Sams Yams, if you google it, you can find their website and see a store that may carry it near you!! We use the berry yammy cookies which are hard and Snick has to work at em to break which helps his teeth alot. They are grainless and all natural. I also use Natural Balance Venison and Spotato biscuits which are also grainless and now made for smaller breeds. Snick eats everything now and seems to have become a cow. We are thrilled...lets hope it stays this way!! We were giving him cottage cheese with his apples, but his farts were deadly so we cut that out andno more farts!. Smiles--

You are subscribed to this thread Cry for help... Ready to give up.... Hopefully everythings works out... right now I am only feeling her Solid Gold Wee bits and have told everyone in my house they are not allowed to give her anything they are eating... we are on day 6 of that and she is actually eating her food because she has no choice.... I will keep at it as it takes a lot of strength and will from our part....
