| You Do realize I seem to have hijacked this thread...I am so sorry, not my intention at all. Rule of thumb is 63 days, give or take, (I have never done this before, so I'm not an expert) but if there is pyometra, she will probably not make it to term. She has appt on monday for an indepth ultrasound and we will knkow for sure. If there is pyometra, she may have to be spayed and lose pups. Not sure, but I really shouldnt have waited this long. Pyo is very dangerous and can kill her. Princess is at 45 days today. Way too early to have them.

| By the way I forgot to ask how is the Laxatone working? I woulder if it is something they should be taking as a precautionary, or just when they start having problems?

| I did not get the Laxatone. My vet seems to think that this was a build up over time, and that she will be fine now. So far, she is doing great. I sure hope Princess does not have Pyro. Good luck on Monday, and have a great weekend.

| Sorry, I havent been on this thread for a while, just wanted to get an update on your hairball issue. Maybe your little one is bored, I have heard they will chew their feet when they are bored or anxious. Then of course they will swallow hair. I have seen Princess do it, and she gets obsessed with it sometimes. Drives me nuts!! She hasnt been coughing up any more hairballs, I wonder if it was some weird stage of her pregnancy she was going through. It was definitely hair though, no doubt in my mind, and it was hers. why she would pull out her hair and eat it? No clue. She is at 60 days today, and we have had her on antibiotics for which the discharge is better, done ultrasounds, and an xray (four puppies in there) and just waiting for the birth now. Yay, I'm excited, but she is now having potty issues all over the house. Boy these little dogs are stubborn!! If it wasnt so close to delivery date I would put the Huggies back on her!

| Hey, good to hear from you. I am glad Princess is doing OK. I wish I had an answer to the potty issue. Luckily, Sadie threw up that one big hair ball, and I have not had any more problems with her. It must have been there for awhile, because she had been honking which I thought might be collapsing trachea. All of that has ended, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. She still licks her paws, mine too, LOL. She has done this since the day I got her. I don't think she is bored and anxious, but one never knows. I am keeping an eye on her. Thanks for the update.
