| Kibble Size I was just curious, does everyone use a small bits kibble for their furbabies or do you use the regular size also? I know the small bits are probably easier for them to chew, but I was just curious what everyone else does. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I feed raw now, but when I used to feed kibble - I fed Wylie both and he did okay with either (he is 6 lbs). My Marcel, who is 3 lbs, probably would require a small kibble.

| The small bits are easier for them to chew, but I feed the large bits if I am feeding kibble...it slows my two down, otherwise Emma would just gulp and swallow her food-the larger piece force her to chew it. She is 6.5 lbs and Milli is just under 5 and they both do fine on the "large breed" sized pieces.

| Ok thank you both for your replies. I just started transitioning between kibbles because my furbaby is a picky eater and got bored with Solid Gold. I'm slowly changing her to Natural Balance right now and the pieces are so much bigger, but she sure doesn't seem to mind and absolutely LOVES the food. I think if they were any smaller, I'd probably have that problem with her gulping them down to! |
