The small bits are easier for them to chew, but I feed the large bits if I am feeding kibble...it slows my two down, otherwise Emma would just gulp and swallow her food-the larger piece force her to chew it. She is 6.5 lbs and Milli is just under 5 and they both do fine on the "large breed" sized pieces. |
