I am not trying to be biased at all. Someone had sent me this video, so i just wanted to put it out there for people. I was actually shocked by this video too. Didn't mean for it to go out on a bad way, just thought i'd give heads up. Don't want anyone babies to get sick or injured.

Like a lot of other people, I find these threads kind of frustrating. Wellness is a great brand of food. California Natural has had these kinds of accusations brought against it too, and that is another very good brand of food. Even if the photos are real (which I'm not so sure of, to be honest-- there's a lot of people in the world with weird agendas where pet food is concerned), have there been any actual reports of injury to a dog due to bone fragments in fish formula kibble, or is it all just people being squeamish? Agreed. I want what's best for my babies but it's starting to get ridiculous. I mean, really, what IS "safe" to feed these days? I'm sure that thousands of dogs eat the food with no problems. We feed Wellness CORE Ocean and I have never seen bone fragments in our food. I keep the food in a clear ziplock bag and I scoop out the food in tiny portions so I see everything they eat. Never had a problem.

To the OP, we are not blaming you! Thank you so much for posting this video. We just get tired of all of the accusations.

I actually wanted to try Wellness Core Ocean. How is it? Mine is a finicky eater so she only likes something that taste really good lol.

They love it! We rotate between Ocean and the regular formula. The only complaint I've heard from anyone is that the kibble size is rather larger. However, they have reduce it's size significantly from when the food was first released. My dogs are bigger so they have no problem with it but yours might if they're smaller Yorkies.

Mimi is decent sized, she is about like 5 pounds. I think she will be able to handle it.

.

I have went through a small bag of wellness puppy mix (currently working on big bag) and found nothing, but I really didn't pay attention.

I scoop my food out into a container from the bag and then I pour a cup into their bowls from the container.

Not really sure if its true, I don't think it would be in all the bags, if any at all.. Just a video to be alert on whatever food you give them. Just a heads up thats all.

my 4.5lb yorkie eats regular wellness core. the pieces are "big" i guess compared to some small dog foods but morgan has no problem with it.

I just bought a bag today at Petco and have inspected it. I didn't find anything questionable at all! MY only complaint is that the kibble size is a little too big, but my baby loves it!

I just bought Wellness for small breed mix and it does not have the white bones.....my little guys love it ......the kibble size is nice and small....

I've been using wellness dry for a couple of years and never had any issues with the quality of the food. I think it is super and my dog loves it. I agree with others that the video seems to be a fraud...

I believe everyone is starting to mix things up. It was the fish based food that some people was finding small white bones in, The video might be real or it may be fake but we should not slander an entire brand of dog food until its a proven fact for their whole line. If your using the Wellness super 5 mix or the Core you wouldnt find any bones or have the chance of seeing any bones becuase its not fish base. I think with any brand food that may have fish in it you just have to be carefull and check for bones before you give it to your fur babies...

Just to clear things up, Wellness CORE does have an Ocean formula that contains fish but you're completely right. Great post!
