| Throwin up after playing? Ok, so the other night I posted, because Baxter had thrown up twice and I was panicking. Well, today, he threw up again. But I think I know why. He had eaten some treats, and then my roommate gave him some bits of dog food. And as soon after that he began playing with my roommates dog. They play hard! A couple minutes later he was throwing up chunks of the food she had given him, they were not even chewed up! Did he throw up, because he played so roughly RIGHT after eating bits of food and treats? Some advice on this would be helpful, because I don't know if he is sick or not. And of course, he doesn't act sick. He still is eating and drinking. Thanks in advance everyone!

| He probably is just getting too excited and his food didn't digest all the way. I wouldn't worry about it if he's not throwing up regularly. If he seems to get worse then I would take him to the vet. Sometimes dogs throw up for no reason at all.

| miss buffey did this once when she was a puppy and me being the protective, worrying mommy emailed her breeder lol...she had just eaten and then started running around playing and she threw up (same scenario as you) ... her breeder told me i should let her rest after she eats (about 30 minutes) and she would be fine...she just needed to digest her food a little and rest a bit after eating after i started making her rest after eating, she has never done it again HTH!
