| I have been feeding Canidae to two of my Yorkies until about 2 wks. ago. I got tired of having 3 different kibbles. (One no-grain, another canned prescription, and then regular Life-Stages.) When the new formula came out I heard quite a few comments about how it made their doggies sick. I didn't have any problems. Talked to the pet supply store owners that I frequent and they didn't know what all the fuss was about. They felt that it was improved. So I don't know. My dh is also very well acquainted with what ingredients are safe for consumption and he didn't understand what the fuss was about. I think there was some concern that Diamond Corporation was manufacturing some of the food. Sometimes one has to follow their gut instinct. There have been some members that have said they have been feeding Purina to another doggie of theirs and the dog is elderly and hasn't had any problems. Each to his/her own. Good luck. ~Joanne~

| Welcome to YT!! Canidae is a high quality food; and it is safe for yorkies. However there's not one food that's best for all yorkies, so you have to see what agrees with your pooch. |

| Canidae My two yorkies as well as my golden are on all life stages. My baby yorkie wanted to eat out of my oldest's bowl & wouldn't have anything else. So it's easier for them to eat all the same thing. They were eating it before the change & continued after with no problems. They love it & so do I.
