I have been feeding Canidae to two of my Yorkies until about 2 wks. ago. I got tired of having 3 different kibbles. (One no-grain, another canned prescription, and then regular Life-Stages.) When the new formula came out I heard quite a few comments about how it made their doggies sick. I didn't have any problems. Talked to the pet supply store owners that I frequent and they didn't know what all the fuss was about. They felt that it was improved. So I don't know. My dh is also very well acquainted with what ingredients are safe for consumption and he didn't understand what the fuss was about. I think there was some concern that Diamond Corporation was manufacturing some of the food. Sometimes one has to follow their gut instinct. There have been some members that have said they have been feeding Purina to another doggie of theirs and the dog is elderly and hasn't had any problems. Each to his/her own. Good luck. ~Joanne~
