| Oh and the Capstar is just a "quick fix". It will just kill the adult fleas on the dog. You will have to use a preventative afterwards to prevent reinfestation.

![]() I have to have the crate ready at all times basically because this dog is so obseessed with getting to Ellie that she has been pawed at, jumped at, sniffed at, etc. In fact, when I am on the couch with Ellie, then dog comes and attacks (playing) and will "NOT" listen to "no". So I stand up and hold Ellie to keep her safe and the dog gets the couch. Then once she was on the couch and dove/flew across the room at Ellie. I have alpha rolled her 3 times but it doesn't really sink in much. She is a pup and very playful but it almost goes beyond that to not necessarily aggression but something that could turn that way quickly. She just will not listen. So that crate is ready to use at all times. I guess I may not have a choice though. I have seen no fleas in the crate but that is my best guess. I so want this week to be over. And she better not hurt Ellie or else..... Even when Ellie growls and snaps, she won't back down. I don't get it. No fleas so far today though!

like humans and dogs, etc... I've read where farmers add it to the grain they sell for human consumption, people use it around the house in their carpets, and people even sprinkle it on their dogs. You should read up on it...seems like a pretty cool natural remedy! I need to look into it more, but my thinking was that after vacuuming, you would have to retreat carpets....maybe it would take a couple of vacuuming's to need to retreat?? I don't know. It may not be very cost-effective to use ALL the time, but you don't really need it all the time. I know neither of us treat for fleas unless we see them anyway, so it may be worth it to have on hand in that case. I should probably practice what I preach and get some too....I just haven't gotten around to it yet!!
