| Flea Control/Worms HELP!!!! O.k. so both of my puppies, Mufasa and Nahla stay inside. Mufasa does go outside to potty but Nahla pees on the potty pads. I'm sure Mufasa is the one who is bringing in the fleas that get on Nahla. Everytime Nahla gets fleas she gets those tapeworm things from biting the fleas (the vet explained it all to me) so I get the little pill from the vet everytime I see the worms in her poo-poo and treat her. I know I have to treat for fleas as well so I got both of my babies Frontline Plus and it does absolutely nothing! 2 weeks after I treat them I see fleas again. HELP!!! Is there something that works better for fleas than Frontline Plus? I have to stop by the vet on my way home from work this afternoon to pick up the worm medicine for Nahla but I am so sick and tired of the fleas in general. What do I do? Use? HELP! |

| Maybe trying a flea dip or giving her a bath in Dawn Original dish soap, or a capstar pill before you apply the Frontline? Mine are both on it and are fine unless I forget. I would also try treating your yard.. that will help a lot. Lastly, check for an infestation in your house. If they live in your house there's no preventing that they won't get them again. Wash all of their bedding/clothes in hot water and then I would either flea bomb or use some dry solution to kill the fleas. I can't remember what they're called off the top of my head but if you search on YT, you'll find it.

| i dealt with fleas with fiona for a whole month, you gotta treat inside and out, and after applying frontline you cannot bathe until 4 days later...... wash their bedding every other day, vaccuum, and it should help.....

You obviously have an infestation in your house and need to deal with that. Adult fleas only spend about 20% of their time on your dog. The rest of their life cycle is probably spent in your carpets. One thing to add.....after you vacuum, make sure you empty the canister or toss out the bag or the fleas will hatch in there and crawl out. I hate fleas. | |
