| Reverse Sneeze?? My yorkie, Lilly, was making a sound that I thought was a cough. But, when describing it to the vet, he said it sounded like a "reverse sneeze". Anyone know what that is? SHould I be concerned? He put her on a antihistimine. |

| A lot of small dogs have reverse sneezing. My oldest yorkie has been doing it for probably around 4 years. They don't need to really be on anything for it, the vet said if it gets bad enough, you can give benadryl. I just put my hand over the yorkies nose when she starts doing her sneezing, then, she has to breathe out of her mouth, which stops the attacks |

| One of my dogs gets this occasionally. Dont worry, its really nothing. The vet gives me a doggie anihistimine. I've also used the dye free liquid childrens benedryl. I think one half teaspoon for every 3 pounds is what the vet told me, but no more than a teaspoon at a time.
