| ![]() Any recommendations for some superior food? I would like to try something better than the science diet. Maybe the "raw diet". |

| ![]() I don't feed raw but think it is a really good choice. If you deciode to feed kibble here is a great web site to look at different food. Dog Food Reviews - Main Index - Powered by ReviewPost I feed grain free. |

| ![]() I don't feed raw either but many on here do- Premade is the way to go and if i were going to feed it i'd go with Nature's Variety. If you are looking for kibble- Natural Balance is a great food. I also like Orijen because it is grain free. Merricks has a new grain free food called Before Grain but I don't know a lot about it. |

| ![]() I am a Prey Model raw feeder (whole meat parts) and am happy to answer any questions. I used to feed pre-made raw - I actually prefer the brand Primal to Nature's Variety...but pre-made is a great way to start!

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | ![]() Life's Abundance is what I prefer. I've tried others and nothing compares for mine. No itchies, hard solid small poo, great coats, shine...I just can not say enough and its a premium health food. Comes in canned and kibble. Mine love it. |

| ![]() A raw diet is a great choice although I do not feed it to my pups. I use Orijen and the Halo dog treats and they have done great with this food so far. ![]()

YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() Chester has been on solid gold for awhile and has done well, he has a beautiful coat, he has itchies but it some thing other than food, he does well on it because it has 4 percent fiber and it helps with his anal gland issues he ocassionally gets. I have changed him over to innova small bites for a change but he seems to drink alot of water on it. |

| ![]() I feed Scooter Wellness Adult Chicken. We are starting to switch to Wellness Small Bites (also chicken) because it is formulated for little dogs. Wellness has been a great food for Scooter. He has a better coat compared to previous foods. I add chicken and other people food in (always simple ingredients...nothing that would cause issues). I have always been curious about raw diets but I work full time and due to time contraints could never make it work. If you can make it work, more power to you. There is a lot of research online so just read up on everything and make an educated decision....thats how I came to choose Wellness. Good luck!!

| ![]() I use Orijen Adult Dry. A very superior dog food. Go to dogfoodanalysis.com They rate all the foods there. I believe Science Diet is rated very low. Orijen is grain free and high in protein. It contains fruits and herbs and probiotics. It is rated 6 stars ... the highest rating they give. When we adopted our baby he was 8 months and on Eukanuba (also a very low rated food). We put him on Wellness (rated 5 stars for dry formula) but his stools were very loose and frequent. Since putting him on Orijen he has done way better. He will not eat foods that contain grains again. Even his treats and absolutely no table scraps. Dogs do not have the enzyme amylase as we humans do that helps break down carbs, making grains very hard on their digestive system. Grains are said to cause alot of health problems in dogs. Good Luck! |

| ![]() I use Wellness. I have found through research, that it is close to raw food. No additives and no ground up bone. No recalls or large scale complaints. It is an all natural food and I LOVE it for my yorkie. It is kinda pricey, but for the small amount my Monty eats I think it is worth it. I did my research online as well as in the Pet Store (and not a big chain like Petsmart - they didnt seem to have a clue).
