I use Orijen Adult Dry. A very superior dog food. Go to dogfoodanalysis.com
They rate all the foods there. I believe Science Diet is rated very low.
Orijen is grain free and high in protein. It contains fruits and herbs and probiotics. It is rated 6 stars ... the highest rating they give.
When we adopted our baby he was 8 months and on Eukanuba (also a very low rated food). We put him on Wellness (rated 5 stars for dry formula) but his stools were very loose and frequent. Since putting him on Orijen he has done way better. He will not eat foods that contain grains again. Even his treats and absolutely no table scraps. Dogs do not have the enzyme amylase as we humans do that helps break down carbs, making grains very hard on their digestive system. Grains are said to cause alot of health problems in dogs.
Good Luck!
