and I'm a NERVOUS wreck!!!! I took today off since we had a death in the family this weekend, and I wanted to be with my little girl all day. After being a vet tech , you would think i'd be ok with this, but i'm really getting nervous for her. The vet just called to confirm her appointment tomorrow, so i I just hope she will be ok!

I remember that feeling. Lexi was spayed at the end of September, so it's not that long ago. I was a wreck too. I cried on the way to the vet, and as I was walking out. When we picked her up, we were able to hold her and everything. She was happy to see us. She was very calm and had a low energy level. The next morning when I came down, she rolled onto her back to get her tummy rubbed! That day, she rested a lot, and was calmer and quieter than usual. By the second day home, she was more active, and by the third day, you wouldn't have known that she had gone through anything.

I know every dog is different, but it's amazing how they bounce back.

I hope your girl's recovery is as easy as Lexi's!

thank you very much, im sure she will be just fine, i just hate to have to put her through it, especially right before thanksgiving!

Well, I just called the vet, and they just got her started, they said she is doing just fine, so i'm awaiting a call from the vet, and my tummy is in knots! I'm sure she is good though!

This is how I felt too!! Let me know as soon as you pick her up how she is doing!!

Awww...I just picked up my Sassy from her spaying. She did fantastic....now i can breathe! Your baby will be fine too. Just struggling now how to keep her from jumping!

I'll be thinking of you and Fiona! I'm sure all will go well, but I know how you feel; I made Twinkle's appointment yesterday - it's not till Jan 6th but I've started worrying already! xxx

hey your in seaford!? what a small world! well, Fiona did great! the vet actually said she had a false pregnancy, where her body thought she was pregnant, but isnt! so she did great, and as soon as i got her from the vet she was all excited, wagging her tail, even barking at people! so now i'm trying to get her to lay low! i am so happy she did great!!!!

Awww....she looks so cute!! I still can't believe she is already wagging her tail and barking! I guess all dogs respond differently!!! I'm sooo glad she is doing well!

thank you! im just sitting here on the floor with her while she is laying in her cool fleece pink bed!!!!! she actually just ate some food, and went potty outside =)

i forgot to tell you, she gets her pain meds tomorrow am, since they gave her the full doses at the vet today! probably gave it to her in her muscle!
