I remember that feeling. Lexi was spayed at the end of September, so it's not that long ago. I was a wreck too. I cried on the way to the vet, and as I was walking out. When we picked her up, we were able to hold her and everything. She was happy to see us. She was very calm and had a low energy level. The next morning when I came down, she rolled onto her back to get her tummy rubbed! That day, she rested a lot, and was calmer and quieter than usual. By the second day home, she was more active, and by the third day, you wouldn't have known that she had gone through anything.
I know every dog is different, but it's amazing how they bounce back.
I hope your girl's recovery is as easy as Lexi's!
