You guys, Loki is in it with you. He goes outside 20 times a day and he still comes in and sits by the treat counter and gives a little whimper. It's so cold here I can't walk them. Even on the mild days (like 38 degrees, heh) it's 30MPH winds so we barely make it to the mailbox. Sammy hurt her back so now she can't play with Loki. I let her out of her crate this morning and sat on the floor with her and he was SO excited to see her - he was doing a little dance But they can't play I think Loki and I will try to lose weight together. Not sure how that works, but it makes me think twice about getting a snack when I can't share!

| Thor's Human Donating Member | For those whose doggies don't like apples or carrots -- try oranges, mangos, or bananas. These have a higher sugar content. Or go for some low-fat protein, like lean chicken or turkey. Remember, you can always play fetch indoors! Walking is not supposed to be vigorous exercise anyway. Playing fetch or with other dogs is usually better cardio. Last edited by QuickSilver; 01-03-2009 at 01:28 PM. |

Suzi is 9 months old and is around 9 1/2 lbs . She is not chunky or fat though, and I thought she was too big for a yorkie... Oh well these guys come in all sizes. I am glad Suzi is on the big size because she is my first Yorkie and dog ever. She is healthy and active. I do not have to worry about her getting hurt so much either like a very tiny dog.
