| Has anyone received their samples?? Hope so and hope your babies love them as much as Toto does. She is still experiencing withdrawals from the bad chicken but will spend the day next Wednesday with her vet. He will be running every test that they are capable of, kidney, liver, etc. and I just hope I can hold onto my sanity until the results are all in and I know that she is still perfect!

| I didn't know that the chicken strips sold on pet shops were bad either. But, it does see like almost anything and everything you buy is made in China, even if it is packaged and distributed in the US. So, I wasn't too surprised about the chicken being from China. I ordered a sample from Konas also and they just came yesterday. And, yes, they look just like slices of chicken breast that I would have bagged up. My dad thought it was homemade chicken as I use the same bags for my Food Saver. Oh, and BTW, Molly loves them! So, I'll be ordering more of them. |

| First of all, thank you all so much for your response and great feedback on Kona's Chips! I know it probably sounds silly but it feels "supportive" in this that we are going through with our little "junkie"!! I know I will never, ever even try any other kind of chicken for Toto. She will be eating Kona's Chips when she is a little old Yorkie lady! I totally trust them and I never want to go through anything like this again.UPDATE on Toto. She has calmed down some but acts like she is starving all the time. I cannot increase her food quantity until her vet and I have a chance to go over everything and plan. She will be spending the day with him on Wednesday and he will be doing every test they are capable of doing and it will be sent of the University's lab. He trusts their results more than their onsite lab or anyone in the country, so we are comfortable with that. It will take longer and be more expensive but at this point, the results are all we are concerned about. I will certainly update you all ... hopefully he will just find that Toto is just a little piglet and Patrick & I are just upset for no reason!

| We got our samples last week and Bonnie loves them. I am such a bad mommy and didn't even realize there was anything wrong with the chicken treats I was giving her until I read this thread. I have been giving them to her for probably 6 months, and I do know that she really loves them, in fact it is the one thing she loves more than me because I give her a piece every morning as I leave for work, and on the weekends I can tell she is a little sad when she can tell that I am not going to work. I will be ordering more for her and Thank You Bettyeann for telling us about this.

| We got our sample and I gave Harley about half a strip on Thursday. He loved it! Unfortunately it did not love him He had three very mushy poos on Friday (normally only has two firm poos a day) which smelled just like the jerky. Poor little man, it seems like his little belly just can't handle alot! I don't think that there was anything wrong with the jerky, I just think he is has a super sensitive belly So, the rest of my sample went to my "nephew" the weiner dog whom we lovingly refer to as Mikey - because he will eat anything!Jeri and Harley |

| Hi, I'm new to YT. As I began reading this thread, I wondered where the Dingo bones I have been giving my 8 month old yorkie came from. I felt horrible when I read the package: "Made in China". I quickly threw the rest of it away! This concerned me very much because the product says it has real chicken meat, but the color of it is red. I knew the meat part was dyed, but I didn't think it would do harm. My puppy has coughed here and there and has thrown up once in the past month. Now I know why, and boy, do I feel like a horrible person! I have tried alternative chews such as Bully Sticks and Edible Nylabones. Unfortunately, the Bully Sticks stink (and yes, I know what they are really made of ) and my puppy didn't like the Nylabones. She has been chewing on the large rawhide that actually belongs to my boyfriend's family dog, so I bought some Dingo bones to suit her size. But never again will I buy them!!!I requested a sample of the dried chicken strips since the product is made here in the USA, but I still feel a bit paranoid! I'm always going to check the labels from now on! Oh, and sorry for the lengthy post (since I'm a newbie ). |

| I want to try Kona Chips too, so I'm not taking away from Kona Chips, but Plato doggie treats are made in the USA also here's the link. The girls love the chicken strips, haven't tried anything they carry. Plato Pet Treats
