| Food Mixture As some might have read in a previous thread about Pro Plan, I currently am feeding my Sasha Nutro which she absolutely loves. Like I had said before, I know it isn't the greatest (and according to a review site is only 2 stars) she is doing very well with it. When she was a puppy though, the breeder used to mix in Solid Gold with her food. I'm starting to consider mixing in some Solid Gold with the Nutro. I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about this. It would be much appreciated. |

| Well I've been up for awhile reading up on different brands of dog food and now I'm thinking that I should switch over to Solid Gold small bites all together. It seems to be a better grade food than Nutro. What does everyone else think? If this is the case, do I give her the same amount of food as I'm giving her now with Nutro? or do I do less because of the quality of the food? Everyone's help will be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry if I sound overly obsessed with this. Sasha is my first dog ever and I just want her to be healthy and happy. |

| Please stop giving your puppy Nutro immediately. It has been linked to sick dogs, even deaths. If you Google "Nutro sick dogs" you will get tons of hits. Please read this thread and read the links Wylie's Mom posted. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...utro-help.html |

YIKES! OMG all of that is scary stuff that I've been reading about. Do you by chance know if Nutro's treats are just as bad as the food? I'm actually going to the pet store right now to get both my dog an my brother's cat new food. | |

| Yes, the treats are the same. Please stop using them all. I know you said your baby is doing well on Nutro, but consider how much better she will do on a higher quality food. Good luck!
