| My two senior dogs are on Canidae platinum formula. They haven't had any issues with the change

This is so difficult!! I'm not sure what to do. It's so hard to find a good dry food. Thanks for responding!

| I had probs with the new formula too....gave my pup loose stools and made her so sick i feared for her life! Switched to Nutro and had probs with that from both of my dogs (one is a westie) . Sooo after sampling several new formulas I settled with Evo...no grains all natural and good to my babies! Thats the one I recommend. Comes in several flavors too. |

| How many of you use "Lifes Abundance"? I am so confused with all these dog foods!! I like the idea of it being delivered but just wanted some more opinions to see what some of you think about it too. I am waiting for my "free sample" and I will see how Lily does with it. THANKS for any input that anyone has. |

| Do all of you only use the dry Canidae food? I am wondering if any of you have tried the canned version of the Canidae. I was feeding Calli (she's a year and a half) the Canidae dry All Life Stages Chicken Turkey Lamb & Fish kibbles and she got to where she would pick at her food rather than just stand there and eat it right up. It might take her all day to eat what I put out in the morning, which was approx 1/4th cup, so I added some yogurt or cottage cheese (in a separate bowl) and that helped some but she still didn't eat very much. I was afraid she wasn't getting enough even though I had added the yogurt or cottage cheese along with her dry kibble. I recently tried the canned version of Canidae and she just stood right there and ate it immediately and looked up for more. I still gave her some yogurt or cottage cheese with it but she started having loose stools and I wasn't sure if it was the canned food, the yogurt, or the cottage cheese even though she had already been eating those and hadn’t had any stool changes. I tried adding some dry kibble in with the canned to see if that helped (not really) and then I quit giving her the yogurt first, no change, then stopped the cottage cheese, no change, and have now stopped the canned and have gone back to the dry kibble only. I started her on some pumpkin as well to help firm her stools back up. She seems to be getting better but she doesn't use a potty pad (goes outside) and I can't always tell "what she left behind". My clue is generally if she stops and starts to clean herself after going and then I'm pretty sure we need a "butt wipe". I am thinking her problem is with the wet food even tho it is supposed to be the same ingredients as the dry. Since she had been eating the dry kibble with yogurt and cottage cheese and hadn’t had any problems until I added the wet I don’t think the canned agrees with her. I am happy with the dry kibble only, just want to make sure she is getting enough to eat. I would appreciate any thoughts you might have, don't want her to be hungry.
