Marci, is there anyway you can just stick to a low fat home cooked meal. After all did you know that dog food is sprayed with rancid resturant grease to keep the kibble from stinking and to entice the pets to eat it? Not good!!!

It is sprayed with resturant grease???? Where did you hear this? Are you saying that ALL dry kibble is? I have never heard this in my entire life....

Dog food is sprayed with fat (the oily residue that gets on your hands) but it would be very difficult to prove that it is restaurant grease. It may very well be true for a few brands but nobody is there watching.

This is one of the reasons that it is a good idea to not buy a food that has animal fat or animal digest as an ingredient. Why can't they get more specific? Maybe because they rotate ingredients or maybe because they don't know what it is... It really is impossible to know for sure.

The meat used is mostly leftovers (by-products) and using diseased animals wouldn't be unheard of.

OH MY!!!!!! UGH!!!! What is good to feed them??? I have to be in Az. until middle of Nov. then I go back to WV until January so I am not in one place long enough to have anything shipped to me and I hate to keep changing her food??? HELP!!!! POOR LILY!!!!!!
