| 3V Caps (fish oil) is great for coats. Fish oil has other health benefits like boosting the immune system, too. 3V Caps Skin Formula for Small DOG & CATS (60 caps) |

| I bought salmon oil for Tucker and I could definitely tell the difference. It just gave him really bad breath.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Eicosaderm from Vetamerica has the fish oil w/ the needed Vit E already in it - you just give a 1/2 pump of it per day.

| I just finished a bottle of pro pet, coat and skin formula. I have been putting it on thier kibble. I can't really tell any difference, so I guess I wouldn't recommend it.

| Unless the Missing Link has changed the ingredients, they only have Omega 3 and is a bit expensive. Just buy the NOW Omega 3, 6 & 9 gel caps. I use one gel cap devided three ways each and every day squeezed into their breakfast. I also make Dr. Pitcair's Healthy Powder and give them one teaspoon on their breakfast and dinner. They have extremely healthy coat and skin. (Plus I home cook for them)

| Simple question.. Do you use this product on your yorkies? How long have you been using it and how long did it take to see results? My yorkie is losing her hair especially on her hind legs. I havent changed her diet and is rarely exposed to new enviorments and she is just as playful as she has always been so I have no idea what it could be. She has a vet appt tomorrow. I hope its nothing serious. I am going to have to shave her down to get an even re-growth and I would like a product to speed up the growth. Thanks!

| We received the DermCaps from the vet after he saw Snick's flaky ears and nothing happened after giving it to him for 3 weeks, so I am in transition of changing him to a grain free diet. Hopefully he will stop itching, be less flaky, and stop nibbling his paws every now and then! -Viv |

I have switched from just straight fish oil bc I wanted the fatty acid GLA in addition to the EPA and DHA that is in fish oils. I think Marcel may have some atopy and GLA is needed for that issue. It has the balance of Omega 3s and 6s that I was looking for, in addition to Vit A/D/E. The one I'm now using is Ark Naturals Royal Coat which has fish oil and borage oil. You can get it online or at Whole Foods and other health stores.
