| Toto gets yogurt and fresh blueberries, "Yummy Chummy's" [dehydrated Alaskan Salmon] and a dehydrated chicken strip at night. She gets little bits of assorted fresh fruit ... whatever we have on hand ... Asian pear [her alltime favorite], apple, cantalope, watermelon, etc. She would very easily become a vegan ... love, loves veggies and fruit!!

| Mayme gets gala apples, peas, and baby carrots. Her favorite are the apples...It's so funny to watch her smack her lips while she's eating it. |

| Hi, I've read on a few sites that it is ok to give rawhide and pig ears for teething puppies. Lately though I notice he's eating more instead of chewing these things. I'm thinking of taking them away even though he loves them. I wonder what standards are in place as far as ingredients of ones that are supposed to be basted in chicken broth etc. The only treats he seems to like are Bil Jack liver treats. He won't eat milk bones or any of the other crunchy things. Anything else you can suggest as a treat? |

| I ordered some treats from someone on this forum, I saw the link in her signature and decided to try it. Arthur loves them so far! The bag says Yorkie Yummies but I don't remember who I got them from |

My pup also used to eat just Bil Jack, but I've stopped giving her any store bought treats in favor of healthier ones like peeled apples and carrots. You can also boil him some chicken and pull off pieces for a treat. | |

| ♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | Let me first say, I like to have choices for treats, so don't look at what I have and think "Way toooo many treats!!" We only give Bella 1, sometimes 2 treats a day, and usually only when we're leaving her. (Except training treats, which are tiny little bits and only when training!) Regular treats: Old Mother Hubbard Mini Bone Biscuits, and Mother's Finest Dog Cookies DOGSWELL Breathies or Vitality (these are basically all natural dried chicken breast with supplements or herbs added) Training treats: Zuke's Mini Naturals--bite sized training treats. I got Peanut Butter the first time I used them (I didn't like the smell at all, but I think Bella likes them better than the Chicken ones I have now). Nature's Balance Dog Food Rolls (I get the little mini 2.75 oz. ones in the bins near the register at Petco for 99 cents, so far only have used the Lamb--these I cut into about 8 "sticks" and then cut each of those in half...and the I break the halves into smaller bits as I'm using it. Once you open, you have to refrigerate or freeze the rest!!)---this is actually a dog food, but she falls all over herself for it!! Our Puppy Kindergarten teacher recommended it, and boy was she right! And, when she's out of some of her biscuits (because I'm crazy to have so many anyway!!!), I want to try Robbie Dawg biscuits and see how she likes those....Turkey Sausage and Romano Cheese sounds fabulous!!! |

| My girls mostly get Yorkie Yummies. They are totally addicted to them. But when we run out, they go nuts over pupperoni, pupperoni ribs or freeze dried chicken. They also dearly love cheese.

| I usually only give Zuke's Mini Naturals to Abby and Daisy, salmon flavor. Sometimes they get some baby carrots, green beans, cottage cheese, cheese & bananas.

| I give my 5 month old boy Dr. Becker's Bites. Every store I've been to says that almost every dog loves these treats, and that they are wonderful for them (no grains). He is teething, so we also do frozen carrots, which he loves! |

| Sometimes I will get a sample bag of a good quality food and use it as a treat. It is great for when you are training so they get a healthy reward
