How ever did I miss this thread................... Marci, if your little Layla needs the surgery, she will do great since she's really healthy now. (allergy's don't count. The recovery time is what's hard on the babies and the moms. 6 to 8 weeks of no running and jumping. I can sure give you tips in that department.

Thanks Donna Lay goes in October for her blood panel and I'll have her vet look at her knee then.... will she be able to tell just by manually manipulating it whether it has gone to stage 3?

Have you also gotten a 2nd opinion from an orthopedic surgeon? That can really be helpful too. I have Wylie now on Cosequin after reading the literature that EllieMay posted a while back - it's really the only supplement that was studied and proven to have results, so I'm really hoping it keeps him pre-surgical forever. I hope Layla's knees hold.
