Does the new style say it is NEW? OMG! I can't believe they are still selling the old ones.

| On principle as they hurt a lot of dogs with their old product and it took them to long to admit an issues, I do not use them at all. There are a few other choices... Budda bones, Nylabone as well but always make sure they say edible and digestable... just cause a dog can eat it does not make it good for it tummy to digest. Another choice I found a like is N-Bone not the same as nylabone it carries a variety of different chews that are wheat free and both edible and digestible. NPIC: Home Pearly White, Twistix, bone a mint be some, I have used of their line. I have used all of them and really like the twistix do to the size they come small and also are a little softer then the others for tiny teeth. I only feed one a day as well really if fills them up but it not food it just for teeth health and mental health not nutrition. JL

| Maybe it is just me, but I have a major problem with the Greenies company. They are supposed to be "as digestable as kibble" now but I asked Greenies how digestable the old ones were and here is the response I got: Thank you for the inquiry about original Greenies(r) dental chews. Digestibility testing with original Greenies(r) shows them to be about 85% digestible when chewed normally by dogs. This level of digestibility is very similar to premium dry dog foods which usually run from 82-89% digestible. So they may be 95% digestable now but they were as digestable as kibble before. ![]() Then they say you shouldn't give them to dogs less than 6 months or less than 5 pounds because they don't have adequate chewing ability. ![]() Yeah, sure. Adult Yorkies can't chew correctly then. I also read on one site that a surgeon from Georgia said they still do see obstructions from them occasionally. I just don't trust them at all but no chew is 100% safe.
