| I have heard that they tend to gain weight and are lazy too. But the health reasons outweigh them both. Gus was fixed and at 6 monthes and was under 2 lbs at the time. He is now a year and 4 months and he's 2.9 lbs. and very happy and loves to play and is not in the least bit lazy.

| I think is best to neuter or spaying a pet if you are not planning to breed or show. Like everyone mentioned is best for health and behavioral reasons. Regarding gaining weight or being lazy after being neuter is not likely. Is more likely if the the dog is not fed quality food and is not exercise. I hope that your bf and you can be able to reach an agreement thinking on the well being of your little one. Because you neuter your dog that doesnt make him any less of a boy. |
