I have heard that they tend to gain weight and are lazy too. But the health reasons outweigh them both. Gus was fixed and at 6 monthes and was under 2 lbs at the time. He is now a year and 4 months and he's 2.9 lbs. and very happy and loves to play and is not in the least bit lazy.
