| If he is healthy , don't try to make him too much weight . I tried it one with Gioia and my vet told me that she was supposed to be 3 lbs and put her on a diet . He said that even 1 lb more was too much for small breed . |

| Oh thank you for the that information I will ask my vet if she thinks he is too thin! He wasn't really eating much of the Canidae anymore so I went and bought royal canine and the second i put it in his bowl he was eating it so we'll see if he continues or just eats it because its something new.. By the way is Royal Canine as good as candiae or innova or wellness? Thanks |

| My girls eat Royal Canine since they are puppies and I never have had any problems . Some will say a mark is better than another but for me it is the results that count . |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I think alot of these little guys tend to be picky...I would say that you just need to find a food that your little one will eat...Magic was really skinny and still is but we let her eat as much as she wants, we don't want her to be too big or be too small, our vet told us she will maintain her own weight...we feed the girls Nutro Lamb and Rice small bites, but Royal Canin is a good brand as well!!

| Try shredded cheese on his food. Mix canned wet food in once a day and give a little Just Born colostrum milk in the evening. Those things will fatten him up while still being healthy. |

| a few people also recommended me to do was wet the kibble a little bit. When I had first gotten Oreo, I had him on Canidae. he didn't want anything to do with it. So I wet it a little and he kind of liked it at first.. but then he just got used to it.. and then when i switched him to Innova EVO he was happy |

| For a change I feed my dogs Royal canin mini bites and put water on it and sprinkle parmesian cheese on it and microwave it a few seconds.
